Unique. Bold. Timeless. Classic. To me these words epitomize Jane Austen.
Drawing inspiration from the motifs of the period; playful details pay homage to the diverse protagonists in Austen’s female driven stories.
English gardens inspired the alchemy of colour used to depict each novel. Placed amongst the dusty palette darker tones draw attention to Northanger Abbey, mirroring Catherine Morlands love of gothic novels. Delicate florals used for Emma personify her calm and feminine nature. Deep red tones for Pride and Prejudice define not just Elizabeth’s strong, fiery, character but also the legendary love story between she and Mr Darcy.
